Jeff has lived in Columbus his entire life. He is the founder of Grossman Law Offices and has always specialized in Family Law. He has been recognized by his peers as one of Ohio’s—and in fact, the country’s—leading Family Law attorneys and has been listed in every single edition of Best Lawyers in America.

In 2009, Jeff was the first attorney in Ohio to be named the Family Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Columbus, by Best Lawyers in America. He was one of the very first to receive certification as a Specialist in Family Relations Law by the OSBA. Additionally, Jeff is the only lawyer in Central Ohio to have been selected as a Diplomate by The American College of Family Trial Lawyers.

Along with his son, Andrew, Jeff is a contributing columnist to Wholly Matrimony, abi-weekly feature in The Columbus Dispatch. As Founding Partner, Jeff enjoys collaborating with the younger lawyers in the firm, adding his experienced point of view to virtually every case the firm handles.

Get to Know Jeff

Jeff has been happily married to his wife, Anita, since his first year of law school. They have two sons: Andrew, who is managing partner of Grossman Law Offices and Matthew, who owns a thriving business in Columbus. Jeff has six grandchildren, with whom he spends most of his leisure time. Jeff's best friend is an Australian Labradoodle named Baxter, who can be always be found somewhere in and around the office.
