At Grossman Law Offices in Columbus, Ohio, we have always strived to do what is best and right for our family law clients. Recently, four of our attorneys were recognized by Super Lawyers® for this dedication to client satisfaction combined with overall legal abilities.
Our three attorneys who were named 2020 Super Lawyers® members are:
- Founder and Attorney Jeffrey Grossman: Jeffrey was selected primarily for his work in Alternative Dispute Resolution cases. He was placed on the “Top 50: 2020 Columbus Super Lawyers®” list. Additionally, Attorney Jeffrey Grossman has been selected to Super Lawyers® each year from 2004 to 2020.
- Attorney Andrew Grossman: Andrew was selected for his work as a family law attorney, representing clients in a variety of legal disputes like child custody and property division. He was placed on the “Top 100: 2020 Ohio Super Lawyers®”, “Top 50: 2020 Columbus Super Lawyers®”, and the “Top 5: 2020 Columbus Super Lawyers®” lists. Additionally, Attorney Andrew Grossman was named a Rising Stars℠ member in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010, as well as a Super Lawyers® member every year from 2011 to 2020.
- Attorney Anthony Auten: Anthony was selected for his work as a family law attorney. He has earned membership to Super Lawyers® every year from 2004 to 2020.
Furthermore, one attorney from our firm was named as a 2020 Rising Stars℠ member:
- Attorney John Cousins IV: John was selected both for his work as a family lawyer and an appellate attorney. He has also been recognized by Rising Stars℠ in 2018 and 2019.
Super Lawyers® Selection Process
To become a Super Lawyers® member, an attorney must stand out from thousands of other legal professionals who are nominated to the organization each year. Using a patented selection process, Super Lawyers® measures impressive nominees against a metric that uses 12 variables, including case results, professional certifications, pro bono work completed, and so forth. Afterwards, a Blue Ribbon Panel of legal experts will judge top nominees to make the final selection.
The specific selection process ensures no more than 5% of practicing attorneys each year will be named as a Super Lawyers® member. Rising Stars℠ uses the same selection process but requires nominees to be either younger than 40 or have less than 10 years of practice experience. Due to this additional requirement, Rising Stars℠ members are limited to no more than 2.5% of all practicing attorneys in a given region and legal practice area.
