Adam Eliot has been guiding clients through all areas of family law for nearly 30 years. While focusing his career on family relations law, Adam also gained a broad foundation of legal experience in general civil litigation, probate, juvenile, business formation, criminal, and other matters, as well as serving the best interests of children as their court-appointed Guardian ad Litem. Adam has appeared before trial and appellate courts throughout the state of Ohio.
Adam understands how personal and important every case is to his clients, whether child custody, support, dissolution, or property disputes are at issue. He combines empathy for the situation parties find themselves in with extensive legal knowledge, creative strategizing, strong legal writing, and courtroom skills to maximize client outcomes.
Born and raised in New York State, Adam has lived most of his life in the Columbus area. He graduated from Cornell University and the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. Adam recently spent some time in New York City, blazing a brief side career as a background actor in TV, movies, and commercials. Adam is an avid motorcyclist who enjoys spending time with his adult children, international travel, attending live music and theater, and visiting local craft breweries with friends.
